Spring Summer Collections 2016

This holiday Season I’ve spent a bit too much time relaxing by the fireside, reading books and taking a look back/forward at the Spring/Summer 2016 collections in one of my favourite bi-annual reads: Vogue Collections.

I found that the most memorable and beautiful of the Spring/Summer 2016 collections was the Valentino ready-to-wear and in my opinion looks more like a haute-couture collection than ready-to-wear. The intricate details in the embroidery and craftsmanship throughout this collection is overwhelming. I have included the video from the show below so you can marvel at it yourself if you happened to miss it (or just to appreciate it all over again).

Vogue youtube channel has a playlist/recap of all the Spring/Summer 2016 shows if you haven’t had the chance to have a look at them yet. However, it’s now the time to take a look at all the Pre-fall collections as they come out live.

Marie Claire Runway Magazine is another fantastic collections recap issue that is beautifully laid out with all the highlights and some details from the shows. Those of you who are more into fashion and taking a closer look at the details from the shows then I would recommend Show Details Magazine.

For online fashion news you can get live show updates from nowfashion and collections reviews at vogue.com.
