“Ain’t Laurent”
We’ve heard that phrase time and time again and, yes, I was very keen to express my disdain at the demise of the once well respected brand: Yves Saint Laurent. I was especially keen to express my horror when I first saw the cheapened quality of the new shoe collection. No harm in honesty! I don’t condone what has happened to the brand, I will continue to stand by that sentiment. However, when shopping the sales recently in Harvey Nichols (Edinburgh), I happened upon the well made and beautifully classic Saint Laurent collection of bags where I picked out two little beauties. Yes, indeed the collection of Saint Laurent bags has regrettably weakened me.
